Blutengel is a German synth band formed by singer Chris Pohl (Terminal Choice} after he had to leave his former project "Seelenkrank" due to contractual problems. Latter, Seelenkrank returned with a new label and also a new name: Blutengel. The lyrics are primarily in German and/or English and mixed between male and female vocals paired with electronic sounds and with songs often focusing on all aspects of love, from the tragedy of hopeless romance all the way to the naughtier aspects of desire. The female vocals were originally performed by Katie Roloff (a.k.a Kati) and Nina Bendigkeit when Blutengel's debut album "Child of Glass" was released in 1999. Although the first album was successful, not much was heard from the band for a while for the next two years while they worked on their next album "Seelenschmerz".
